The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of exciting endeavors, the trails of saying goodbyes, the start of amazing opportunities. It would be nearly impossible to entirely recap the whole adventure so I will do my best to provide a coherent play by play:
1. Had my first teaching interview.
2. Had my second teaching interview.
3. Received TWO teaching offers!!!!
4. Served as an official face painter for Camp Fire's first Carnival!
5. Accepted and signed on the dotted line as a new elementary art teacher! PLUS I got to visit my new school and meet my amazing staff!!!

6. Discovered my first break/sprain involving a finger.
7. Started searching for new digs and got to witness a (one of many, I'm told) parade which was exciting!
8. Was extremely impressed by my student's growth in their math, reading, and writing skills.
"Ms. MD! My grandma said my writing was so neat it was going to give her a heart attack!"
"You should see my assignment in class, Ms. MD. It's the neatest handwriting I've had all year."
"Ms. MD! I made a boring sentence at home and fixed it. It is so much better now!"
"Whoa, Ms. MD! You really amped it up today but I think I can do this."
"Ms. MD, I told my mom that sometimes clocks have obtuse angles, like this!" *spreads arms wide*
"Ms. MD? Did my accuracy get better? I tried to take my time this time. It did? YES!"

9. Got to feed giraffes at the Binder Park Zoo ( LOVE IT!).
10. Had to start saying goodbye to my Camp Fire kids, at least those not coming to summer camp.
11. Came to a lovely surprise from my wonderful students at Woodcrest.
12. Began saying goodbye to some amazing teachers and staff as the Midland Public School year comes to an end.
13. Just HAD to go see Finding Dory opening day! (I swear she's my spirit animal)
14. Prepared for not only summer camp with Camp Fire, but also for my first time as a summer instructor for art classes with the Midland Center for the Arts (first up: Centered on Ceramics!).
